If you have ever dealt with Ovesco and thought, “That was easier than I expected,” there is a good chance Petar Propadalo had something to do with it. As a Sales Coordinator, Petar sits right at the centre of the action, helping customers, managing orders and making sure everything moves smoothly from enquiry to delivery.
Petar’s path to Ovesco started in a pretty straightforward way. He was recommended for a role and stepped in to take on the ropes, quickly finding his feet in a fast-paced environment. What attracted him to the industry was the opportunity itself. It offered something different, with the promise of an exciting career and plenty of room to learn along the way.
Since starting, Petar has seen his role evolve alongside the business. With ongoing improvements in lean processes, the day-to-day work has become smoother and more efficient. Those changes have made it easier to focus on what really matters, helping customers get the right solution without unnecessary delays.
From the outside, Petar’s job might look straightforward, but there is a lot more happening behind the scenes. One thing customers might not realise is just how busy it can be. The constant flow of emails and phone calls means that even though the team may look small, it is actually quite large when you see the workload on paper.
A typical day involves helping customers and making sure everything runs as smoothly as possible, guiding products from point A to point B without issues. Accuracy is critical, especially when dealing with high volumes of orders. After entering thousands of orders over time, Petar has developed a habit of always double-checking his work to make sure everything is spot on.
Gas struts are one of the most common issues he helps customers with, and while they come up often, they are rarely boring. Each application can be a little different, which keeps things interesting and often leads to creative problem-solving.
If Petar could offer one piece of advice to customers, it would be this. Make use of Ovesco’s knowledge. The team has a deep understanding of the products and plenty of experience solving real-world problems, so asking questions and tapping into that expertise can make a big difference.
